The crowd of fans from around the country will gather to experience the event of the season - all three bands perform LIVE on one stage. To celebrate the 25th-anniversary release of Jimmy Eat World’s album ‘Bleed American’ the band will play the album in its entirety and a selection of songs from their illustrious discography.
Beloved Jimmy Eat World songs like ‘The Middle’, ‘Sweetness’, and ‘Pain’ are going to be given so much love by this crowd of fans. The Mesa-based quartet continued to get spotlight after spotlight after their big commercial breakthrough with the release of Bleed American in July of 2001. Over fifteen years have passed since the release of Chase This Light and the group have gone through many transformations while retaining the sound that their fans have grown accustomed to over the years. After their formation, their first release, Bleed American, was going to be titled that until the events of the September 11 attacks, and instead it was released as a self-titled album, which ended up being their commercial breakthrough.
Motion City Soundtrack will be joining Jimmy Eat World on their 25 year celebration of the release of Bleed American tour. After a hiatus from touring to write and record new material, the iconic pop-punk band will be returning to the road to play their hit songs such as “Everything Is Alright,” “My Favorite Accident,” and “The Future Freaks Me Out.” As a huge influence on the early 2000’s pop-punk scene, Motion City Soundtrack have been bringing their high energy keyboard-driven sets to packed crowds of fans all over the world. Their last album, Panic Stations, was written during a time of great change in the band’s life.
We’ve also got Illuminati Hotties performing. Fronted by Sarah Tudzin and hailing from Los Angeles, this project is a mix of punk with other styles of music. The most recently released album from the artist, Let Me Do One More (2021), has received a lot of praise from fans and critics alike due to its raw, energetic and unique take on a number of different styles of music. The artist is known for a number of songs including “Pool Hopping,” “MMMOOOAAAAAYAYA,” and more.
The Wamu Theater At Lumen Field Event Center is located at 800 Occidental Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134. This theater is a gorgeous building that was designed with a variety of seating options for guests attending performances at the venue. There is an area designated for general admission, the orchestra, and the balcony. In total, the Wamu Theater can hold up to 7,000 people at any time during an event.
